Ruben Valenzuela, 76, of Cassville, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1936, in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Margarito and Margarita (Aguilar) Valenzuela. He was united in marriage to Maria de Los Angeles Torres on Dec. 16, 1973.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Maria; four sons, Carlos, Ruben, Hector and Daniel; and five daughters, Rosa, Teresa, Martha, Jessica and Diana.
He grew up and received his education in Mexico. He and Maria moved their family to Mercedes, Texas, and in 1996, to Missouri. Ruben worked for George's and retired a few years ago. He enjoyed reading the Bible and teaching it to others and spending time with his family and his Christian family. He was a member of Iglesia Apostolica de La Fe en Cristo Jesus. His Pastor was Eleazar Lopez.
Funeral services will be held in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Burial will be in Panteon Municipal, Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
