Business students excel at contest

Cassville High School students earned Division I Sweepstakes trophies in emerging business issues (economics), free enterprise -- public speaking, international business and website development at the annual Missouri Southern Business Contest on April 3. For over 35 years, Missouri Southern has hosted a business contest for various schools from Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. This year, there over 700 students and 33 schools competed at the event. The contest offered 17 events, and each student could compete in two events. Students who earned individual honors are pictured above. Absent from the photo is Wil LeCompte, who earned second place in emergency business issues (economics).
