SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

WORKSHOP: Ozark Country Quilters will meet in Show Me Plaza Shopping Center room eight at 9:30 a.m. for a workshop. The plaza is located on Highway 248 in Cassville behind Papa Vito's.

MEETING: Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #383 in Cassville will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Lodge building.

CASH MOB: The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will gather at the chamber office in Cassville for its next Cash Mob event at 3:45 p.m. The selected business will be announced at the gathering.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Cassville United Methodist Church SONbeam Preschool will hold an open house from 6 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 847-6427 or 847-4714.

PROGRAM: The Eagle Rock Branch Library will offer a National Library Week story time at 10:30 a.m. The program will offer a craft and other activities.


Friday, April 19

HOME AND BUSINESS SHOW: The Shell Knob Home and Business Show will be held at the Shell Knob Elementary School from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Monett Chamber of Commerce will present an Eggs and Issues legislative update from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The cost of admission, which includes breakfast, is $6 per person.

MOVIE: The Cassville Branch Library will show the movie "How to Eat Fried Worms" at 4 p.m. The film is rated PG. All areas families are invited to the event. Attendees should bring their own snacks.


Saturday, April 20

FUNDRAISER: The Exeter CTA will hold a scholarship 5K and one mile fun run at the Cassville Aquatic Park beginning at 7:30 a.m. For more information or to obtain a registration form, visit www.exeter.k12.mo.us.

MEETING: The Eagle Rock Lego Club will meet at the Eagle Rock Community Center at 10 a.m. All area children are invited to attend. Lego donations are currently being accepted for the club.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Garden Sass Farmers Market Association and the Cassville Main Street Association will hold an Earth Day celebration on the square in Cassville from 7 to 11 a.m. The event will offer door prize drawings and live musical entertainment.
