JANIE "BERNICE" BURNETTE
Janie "Bernice" Burnette, 66, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
|She was born June 17, 1946, in Hindsville, Ark., the daughter of Willis H. and Nancy Irene (Evans) Edmonson. On June 16, 1962, in Exeter, she was united in marriage to James C. Burnette, who survives.||Additional survivors include: three daughters, Tammy Teresa Burnette, of the home, Nancy Ann Horner, and her husband, Jeff, of Cassville, and Rhonda Kayleen Curtis and her husband, Seamus, of Cassville; one brother, Willie Lee Edmonson and his wife, Sheila, of Rogers, Ark.; two sisters, Margie "Irene" Dalton and her husband, Edward, of Washburn, and Francis Marie Taylor, of Cassville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.|
Preceding her in death were her parents and one son, James Lee Burnette.
She received her education at Exeter, Best, Ark., and finished in Neosho. For 28 years she was employed at Fasco as an inspector from which she retired. Then she worked at Able 2 around four years.
|Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn.||Contributions may be made to Cassville Day Program at The ARC of the Ozarks in her memory.|
