Cassville falls 7-1 to Goblins

The Cassville Wildcats baseball team fell 7-1 to the Harrison Ark., Goblins on March 25.

The Wildcats struggled to get clutch hits against to Goblins early in the contest.

Cassville (4-2) stranded two runners in the second, fourth and sixth innings and single runners in the third and seventh frames.

Harrison plated a pair of runs in the first inning, single tallies in the second and fifth and a trio of runs in the sixth frame.

Marcus Weatherman took the loss. He pitched three innings, allowed five hits, three earned runs and struck out three.

Chase Jackson went two for three at the plate with a pair of singles. Gabe Kirk and Weatherman collected the only other hits for the Wildcats.
