James Marion "Bug" Bell, 51, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, in an automobile accident near Wheaton.

He was born Aug. 6, 1961, in Illinois, the son of Robert and JoAnne (Malott) Bell. On Jan. 20, 2001, he was united in marriage to Dawn Prewitt, who survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Riley Bell, of Champaign, Ill., and Marcus Prewitt, of Wheaton; five daughters, Caitlin Bell, of Champaign, Ill., and Kelsey Bell, Peighton Bell, Raegan Bell and Kendra Bell, all of Wheaton; three brothers, Nick Nelson, of Hoopeston, Ill., and Sonny Gibson and Mike Gibson, both of Lafayette, Ind.; and three sisters, Rosanne Coffman, of Hoopeston, Ill., and Sherry Bell Coffman and Roberta Reynolds, both of Wheaton.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

He grew up in Illinois, where he received his education. He resided in Florida before moving to Missouri. He did carpentry work and more recently installed equipment in chicken houses and had worked for Fasco.

His body will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
