CMS students earn I ratings

Several Cassville Middle School students, pictured above, brought home I ratings on their solos or ensembles from Monett's CubFest, middle school band festival, held on Saturday, March 9 in Monett. In the front row, from left, are: Savannah Williamson, Olivia Padilla, Jeremiah Hilburn, Grace Schell, Audrie Thorpe, Dakota Moss, Emily Sink, Jaia Thao, Alex Hopper and Kassie Moore. In the second row: Connor Wolf, Lisa Lambel, Issac Dodson, Hannah Kelley, Megan Sloan, Dominic Wilderbuer, Aaron Wogoman, Jake McNeill, Coleman Hoppes, Larry Dickson, Collin Hang and Hayley Donovan. Also bringing home I ratings and overall awards for the best solo or ensemble in their instrument category out of all schools participating in the festival were: Savannah Williamson and Olivia Padilla, outstanding woodwind ensemble; Aaron Wogoman, Jake McNeill, Connor Wolf and Lisa Lambel, Coleman Hoppes and Larry Dickson, outstanding brass ensemble; Issac Dodson, Dominic Wilderbuer, Hannah Kelley and Megan Sloan, outstanding percussion ensemble. The eighth grade band received a I rating and the seventh grade band received a II rating during the competition. Also taking solos and receiving II ratings were Macey Parsons, Levi Hodge, Alyssa Case, Grant Davis, Charlie Seymour, James Curtis, Coleman Hoppes, Larry Dickson, Dominic Wilderbuer and Jeremiah Hilburn. Also, II ratings were given to Aslyn Cowfer, Debbie Davis, Jaymen DeWitt, Kassie Moore, Levi Hodge, Jeremiah Hilburn, Braden Street, Maddison Long, Faith Brooks, Laura Stringer, Savannah Williamson, Olivia Padilla, Macey Parsons, Savannah Clere, Samantha Mitchell, Grace Schell, Dakota Moss, Jacque Holz, Cameron Verde, Alex Hopper and Grant Davis.
