CMS students take math honors

Several Cassville Middle School students, pictured above, brought home honors from the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) competition, held on Saturday, March 9 in Cassville. In the front row, from left, are: Damaris Taylor, alternate; Amber Large, third in concepts; and Kamryn Jaques, fourth in problem solving. Back row: Kobe Blisard, third in problem solving, seventh in concepts; Samuel Holman, first in concepts, second in problem solving; and Shannon Haney, first in problem solving. Other schools represented at the competition included Monett, East Newton, Aurora and St. Lawrence Catholic School in Monett. Students placing first, second or third are eligible to compete in the state MCTM competition on Saturday, April 27, in Warrensburg.
