Seligman man killed in Arkansas crash

A 55-year-old Seligman man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday Highway 62 near Pea Ridge National Military Park in Benton County, Ark.

A preliminary report issued by the Arkansas State Police indicated the driver of a 2012 Toyota Tundra, Stanley J. Lackey, of Seligman, drifted across the center line and collided head-on with a Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by Alvie J. Arnold, of Colcord, Okla.

Lackey was pronounced dead at the scene. Arnold was not injured.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
