Donald T. Wuellner, 82, of Alton, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 21, 1930, in Alton, the son of Andrew J. and Emma (Leib) Wuellner.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Vera (Bradford) Zinn (formerly of Cassville) on April 11, 1955, in Springfield, and she survives.
Additional survivors include: five children, Mary Kay Morton, of Alton, Steven Wuellner, of Godfrey, Andrew Wuellner, of Stockton, Calif., Jo Ellen Hardester, of Alton, and Kurt Wuellner, of St. Charles; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Wuellner, of Alton; a brother, Tom Wuellner, of Alton; and a sister-in-law, Betty Wuellner, of Godfrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eugene and Fred Wuellner.
A Mass of Christian burial was held March 8 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery with full military honors.
