Ernestine Marie Casner, 88, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.

She was born Nov. 20, 1924, in South Haven, Kan., the daughter of Jacob and Minta (Newell) Prough. On March 28, 1942, in Wichita, Kan., she was united in marriage to Harold Heuback, and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1970. On June 3, 1972, she married Billy Casner, who died in April 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jeannie Shoup and her husband, Jack, of Shell Knob; two sons, Keith Heuback and his wife, Mary Ann, of Livingston, Texas, and James Heuback and his wife, Patricia, of Wichita, Kan.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education in Kansas, where she graduated from high school. She was a homemaker and in 2004, she moved to Shell Knob to be near her daughter.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Old Mission Cemetery, Wichita, Kan. Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
