CHS singers earn honors

Several Cassville High School vocal music department students earned honors at the district solo and small ensemble contest in Joplin on March 1.

Soloists who received superior I ratings included: Samye Borushaski; Mikala Deffenbaugh; Hannah Herbert; Alana Holt; Cassidy Larson; Levi Pollreisz; Audra Shumaker; and Kiley Wolf.

Ensembles that received superior I ratings were: Caroline Carr, Britani Long, Audry Holman, Kelsey Roney, Jade Holloway and Sophie Mueller; Anthony Harris, David Clark, Parker Skinner, Pollreisz, TJ Matthews, Caleb Roller, Taylor Dodson and Brad Luekenhoff; Holt, Wolf and Keely McCracken; and Pollreisz, Leigh Cox, Shumaker, Deffenbaugh, Katie Sewell, Holloway, Skinner and Clark.

The following soloists received II ratings, which are rated as excellent: Brooke Cornell; Carr; McCracken; and Roney.

Ensembles that received II ratings were: Dodie Becker, Allen Lambel, Trevor Carney, Mueller, Drake Thomas, Halcyon Moua, Holman and Carr; Deffenbaugh, Shumaker, Korissa Latta and Sewell; Dodson, Harris, Matthews, Roller, Julia Finocchiaro, Borushaski, Nicole McGuffey and Larson; Micah Cole, Jayce Fink, Makenzy Durossette, Lindsey Halterman, Cornell and Courtney Rasmussen; and Brianna Renfrow, Memory Barber, Autumn Donnvan, Kourtney Greek, Natasha Webb and Mariah Willard.
