This year, several local businesses will join the Cassville Democrat to offer the newspaper's first Easter egg hunt contest. The egg hunt will replace the newspaper's annual Easter coloring contest.
Cassville Democrat readers are invited to search the pages of this week's newspaper for eight printed Easter eggs. Each egg has its own design. The page numbers on which each egg is found should be recorded on the entry form printed on the back page of this week's newspaper.
Entry forms, which must include the participant's name, address and telephone number, can be mailed to Cassville Democrat, P.O. Box 486, Cassville, MO 65625. Entries can also be hand delivered to the newspaper office at 600 Main St. in Cassville.
Entries must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19.
All entries will be placed into a drawing, and one lucky winner will be selected to receive an Easter basket full of goodies donated by this year's sponsors, which are: Security Insurance Agency; First State Bank; Freedom Bank; Whitley Pharmacy; the Law Office of John A. Lewright; Tomblin's Jewelry and Gifts; First Baptist Church of Cassville; Security Bank of Southwest Missouri; Barry Electric Cooperative; and the Cassville Democrat.
