Charles Mac Murphy, 75, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in his home.

He was born Dec. 2, 1937, in Stella, the son of Carl and Marietta (Marney) Murphy, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Rocky Comfort High School and then business school in Springfield. He worked for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Okla., for 13 years, returning home to raise and trade cattle. Before retiring, he was employed for Gary Keen at the Cassville Livestock Market as sales manager.

Survivors include: one son, Ken Murphy, of Joplin; one daughter, Regina Robbins and her husband, Gene, of Exeter; one sister, Ann Warren and her husband, Cherry, of Wheaton; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Harold Reaves, minister, conducted the services. Burial was at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.
