Barbaline Marie Dudley, 80, of Cassville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Centerville, Kan., the daughter of Wilton D. and E. Marie (Pearson) Mathews. On May 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Sheldon Dudley, who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one daughter, Julie Dudley Gates.
Survivors include: one daughter, Shelda Dudley, of Joplin; one sister, Freda Bruner, of Mound City, Kan.; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She grew up and received her education in Kansas, graduating from high school in Parker, Kan. In 1964, she moved from Kansas to Missouri, and in June 1969, she moved to Exeter. For several years, she helped her husband, Sheldon, in the bank at Exeter. After that, she worked as a secretary and librarian for the Exeter School.
Graveside services were held Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Byron Stephens conducted the services.
