Edith Helen (Williamson) Smith Ash, 93, of Cassville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Dexter, Kan., the daughter of Roy and Mamie (Brock) Williamson. On Aug. 8, 1936, she was united in marriage to Grover Smith, who preceded her in death in July 1981. On Oct. 6, 1984, she married George Ash who died September 24, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Jerry Smith; one daughter, Jean Cox; and four brothers, Ellis, Willis, Lloyd and Loren Williamson.

Survivors include: two daughters, Barbara Smith and her husband, Kirby, of Aurora, and Carolyn Biggs and her husband, Rex, of Cassville; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grand-children.

She was a long-time resident of Barry County, where she raised her family. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Ralph Walker and Pastor Larry Henbest conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
