Jerry Hall, 69, of Monett, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He was born March 15, 1943, in Butterfield, the son of the late Hershal and Marjorie (Douthitt) Hall. He was united in marriage on May 18, 1962, in Purdy to Patricia Rose, and she survives.
He graduated from Purdy High School in 1961. He worked for Jumping-Jacks Shoe Corp. for 16 years before co-founding Jack Henry and Associates in 1976.
Additional survivors include: one son, Jeff Hall and his wife, Valerie, of Republic; two daughters, Janet Wimsatt and her husband, Paul, of Monett, and Deborah Gollhofer and her husband, Michael, of Monett; one brother, Dr. Kenneth Hall and his wife, Ann, of Purdy; two sisters, Sharon Clifton and her husband, Loren, of Purdy, and Rebecca Parrett and her husband, Jerry, of Nixa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pierce City, with Father Peter Morciniec officiating. Burial followed at Arnhart Cemetery, Purdy.
Arrangements were by Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
