Carl Pendergraft, 74, of Purdy, passed away at home Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
He was born July 8, 1938 in Washburn, the son of John Thomas and Laura "Cassie" (Fletcher) Pendergraft. He was united in marriage to Darlene Baldwin on Oct. 21, 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, James, Paul, Lawrence, Lester and Robert Pendergraft; four sisters, Ruby Ruark, Neoma Grantham, Mary Pendergraft and Alma Pendergraft, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: his wife, Darlene; six daughters, Pam Halona, of Provo, Utah, Kathy Sloan and her husband, Kurt, of Rogersville, Shirley Johnson and her husband, Bill, of Fairview, Carla Cowgur, of Anderson, Brenda Bailey and her husband, Kenneth, of Vilonia, Ark., and Linda Pippin and her husband, Richard, of Seligman; two stepsons, Joe Litchy and his wife, Michelle, of Aurora, and Jeffry Dale Litchy, of Purdy; three stepdaughters, JoAnn Murphy and her husband, David, of Verona, Jennifer Wall, of Cassville, and Julie Thomas and her husband, Mark, of Wheaton; 52 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at Arnhart Cemetery, Purdy.
