Last week, crews began installing the pre-cast concrete slabs for the Cassville School District's new emergency shelter, which is being constructed where the old middle school field house was located on the R-4 Campus. The Cassville School Board awarded RE Smith a $2,150,300 bid for the construction project in November of 2012. When the building is finished it will double as a multipurpose facility.
