FUN AND GAMES: The Cassville Senior Center will offer fun and games at 12:30 p.m.

CLASS: The Cassville Senior Center will offer a paint class at 9 a.m.

MOVIE: The Cassville Branch Library will show the G rated film "Peter Pan" at 4 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring their own snacks.


Saturday, Feb. 9

MEETING: Chatty Crafters will meet at the First Christian Church in Purdy at 10 a.m. The group, which is open to the public, meets on the second Saturday of each month. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn a new craft or share a craft with the group. For more information, call 417-498-2202.

DINNER: The Exeter High School junior class will offer a Valentine dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. The dinner will include spaghetti, a dessert, a drink and a rose. Tickets must be reserved by Feb. 7. For more information, call 835-2922, extension one.

MEETING: Barry Electric Cooperative District One members will meet at the Southwest Elementary School cafeteria in Washburn at 7 p.m. Members will nominate candidates to serve on the cooperative board of directors.

MEETING: The Eagle Rock Community Association will hold its theme potluck meeting at 6:30 p.m. The theme for the month is Mardi Gras cajun food.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Cassville Band Boosters will present Chocolates, Flowers and All That Jazz in the Cassville High School commons area at 7 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the high school and middle school jazz bands. Tickets purchased at the door will be $12 each.
