Andrew Loyd, 20, of Wheaton, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, from injuries received in an ATV accident. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on March 17, 1992. He was a graduate of Wheaton High School Class of 2010, where he was active in the FFA. Since graduation, he worked as an automobile salesman at Burr Motor Company in Neosho.
Survivors include: his mother, Paula (Lane) Nelson, and her husband, Rick, of Wheaton; his father, Greg Loyd, of Zanesville, Ohio; his maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Carol Plumlee, of Neosho; his paternal grandmother, Sharon Archer and her husband, Carl, of Moorseville, N.C.; his paternal grandfather, James Loyd, of Zanesville, Ohio; and his sister, Stacia Loyd of the home.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 31 at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Pastor Scott Mitchell and Pastor Melvin Anders officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery located near Longview. Pallbearers were Zach Endicott, Kevin McCracken, Adam Percival, Donnie Pervical, Matthew Percival and Robert Peters.
