Purdy's boys claimed a 63-48 decision over Verona, and Purdy's girls earned a 56-21 victory.
In the boys varsity tilt, the Eagles found themselves in a 6-0 hole early. However, a 14-4 run to close the period gave them a 14-10 lead to open the second quarter.
Terry buried four treys in the period to swell the black and yellow lead to 29-14.
Verona tried to swing back and pulled within 29-20 before Purdy closed the period with a 5-0 spurt to lead 34-20 at the break.
The Eagles continued the pressure in the third period and led by 23 (49-26) to end the third frame.
Coach Brad Stewart's Verona squad showed pride and grit in the final eight minutes and used an 8-0 run midway through the fourth to trim Purdy's advantage to 55-42.
Terry ended the surge with his final 3-pointer and Purdy held on for the 63-48 win.

Verona defeated Purdy 49-46 in the JV game. Sitton hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Purdy girls
The Purdy Lady Eagles used a 9-1 spurt to start the game and never looked back as they defeated Verona 56-21.
The Lady Wildcats played solid defense in the first half but struggled against the Lady Eagles' interior size.
Purdy led 11-3 after the first period and 26-5 at halftime.
The Lady Eagles claimed the third period 12-10 and the fourth quarter 18-6 to secure the win.
