Three injured in weekend crashes

An Eagle Rock man received serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, four miles north of Eagle Rock on Highway 86. Timothy Lenser, 52, ran off the right side of the road in a 1998 Ford pickup and struck a tree. He was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Other crashes

* A female suffered moderate injures in a two-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 19, two miles north of Washburn on Highway 37. A white Ford Ranger passed the 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier on the right side, driven by Rhonda Hendrix, 38, of Washburn. The Ford Ranger struck the Cavalier causing it to loose control leaving the roadway. Hendrix was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. She was wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Ford Ranger left the scene.

* A pair of local residents sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash one mile est of Cassville on Highway 76 at 7:20 a.m. on Monday. A 2004 Dodge Stratus, driven by Patrick Caddell, 33, of Exeter, collided into the rear of a stopped 2008 Toyota pickup, driven by Patrice Graham, 39, of Eagle Rock. Caddell was transported to Mercy Hospital Cassville by private vehicle, and Graham was taken to Mercy Hospital Cassville by ambulance. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
