Motorists injured in recent crashes
An Exeter woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:06 a.m. on Saturday, on Highway W about three miles east of Wheaton.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 2012 Kia Sportage, Maria C. McNeill, 22, of Exeter, who was involved in a pursuit, ran off the roadway and overturned. McNeill was wearing a seat belt.
* A Nixa man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:13 p.m. on Saturday, at the junction of Highways 60 and 39 inside the Aurora city limits. The crash occurred when the vehicles were stopped in traffic. When traffic started moving, the driver of a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck, Brent E. Martin, 44, of Cassville, struck the back of a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria police car, driven by Josheph A. Gallant, 26, of Nixa. Gallant was taken to Mercy Hospital in Aurora with moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
* A Cassville woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 1 on Farm Road 2175 about one mile east of Cassville. A corrected report issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicated the crash occurred when the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Brandy M. Lauderdale, 34, of Cassville, stopped in the roadway and was hit from behind by a 1992 Ford Ranger, driven by Frances M. Juanche, 18, of Cassville. Lauderdale was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with moderate injuries.
