Mary Franklin Barnard, age 82, of Stella, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in her home.

She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Prim, Ark., the daughter of Oscar A. and Stella Ann (Morgan) Willis. She was united in marriage to Glenn Barnard, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, William Barnard and his wife, Nicole, of Belton, Texas; one daughter, Ruth Ann Spano and her husband, George, of Aurora, Colo.; a foster son, Karl Jacobs, Sr., and his wife, Denise, of Wyandotte, Okla.; one brother, Jimmy A. Willis, of Marked Tree, Ark.; four grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a granddaughter.

She received her education at Harrisonville. In 1979, she moved to Stella, where she and Glenn farmed, raising cattle.

Funeral services were held Jan. 2, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial was at Macedonia Cemetery at Stella.
