Phillip E. Primrose, 52, of Seligman, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, Cassville.

He was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Union City, Calif., the son of Spencer and Beverly (Davilla) Primrose. On Feb. 29, 2004, he was united in marriage to Ruth (Jensen) Primrose, who survives.

Additional survivors include: his parents, Spencer "Mike" and Beverly Primrose, of Cassville; two sons, Phillip Primrose, Jr., of Greenville, N.C., and Levi Slye, of Washburn; three daughters, Dana Primrose, of Beaufort, S.C., Amy Slye, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and April Slye and her husband, Dustin Lowe, of Cassville; three brothers, Rob Jones, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mike Primrose, of Ayden, N.C., and Dave Primrose, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Paul Primrose and Johnny Primrose.

He grew up and received his education in California, graduating from American High School in Fremont, Calif. He resided in Ayden, N.C., before moving to Missouri. He was a self-employed welder.

Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery, Cassville.
