Rev. Jack F. Rowley, 81, of Waskom, Texas, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012. He was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Washburn, to Asa and Cressie Hutchens Rowley. He graduated from Cassville High School in Cassville and attended East Texas Baptist College in Marshall, Texas. He married Doris Jane Guin on July 5, 1953. He worked for the State of Missouri as a chief security officer where he retired in 1993. He was ordained to the ministry in 1951 at First Baptist Church in Cassville. He served his Lord and Savior in the ministry for 48 years, retiring in 1998.
Survivors include: his wife of 59 years, Doris Rowley, of Waskom, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jim Brandon, of Marshall, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Asa and Cressie Rowley; brothers, Paul Rowley and A. B. Rowley; and a sister, Joana Rowley Smithson.
Services were held at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville on Dec. 30, with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville.
