The Cassville YMCA is currently accepting registrations for winter youth tumbling sessions. Classes will begin next week.
The YMCA offers six class levels for children 5 years of age and older. Toddler tumbling sessions are offered for children who are between the ages of 18 months and 3 years, and preschool tumbling classes are held for children who are 3 to 5 years old.
YMCA family members can enroll their children in toddler or preschool tumbling classes for $45 per session. One-hour level one through six classes will cost $60 per three-month session
Level three through six students can also choose to take part in a one-hour Wednesday night session. The cost for two classes per week will be $105.
Non-members can enroll their children in toddler or preschool tumbling classes for $75 per session. One-hour level one through six classes will cost non-members $90 per session, and two one-hour level three through six classes per week will cost non-members $135 per three-week session.
Most of the tumbling classes will be offered on Saturday mornings. Level five and six classes will be conducted from 9 to 10 a.m. Level one through four classes will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., and preschool and toddler classes will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon.
A parent or guardian must be present for preschool and toddler classes.
Private classes are also available to children who are 5 years of age and older. All private classes are one-hour in length. Children can attend class every other week for 12 weeks at a cost of $108 or every week for 12 weeks at a cost of $216.
Financial assistance is available for all YMCA programs.
Registrations for tumbling sessions will be accepted at the Cassville YMCA, which is located on Highway 248 in Cassville.
