Letha Alexander, 90, of Pierce City, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. She was born on June 23, 1922, in Center, Colo., daughter of O.P. and Effie (McLellan) Applegate. She was united in marriage to Roy Alexander on April 23, 1940, in Taos, N.M. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2007. They moved to Pierce City in 2001 from Talihina, Okla. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Monett Congregation.

Survivors include: two sons, Doug Alexander, of Denver, Colo., and Kent Alexander and his wife, Beth, of Monett; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Alexander; five brothers; and one sister.

Memorial services were held Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Monett, with Brian Seydlitz officiating.

Cremations arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
