Court clerk honored

Pam Modlin, chief deputy clerk at the Barry County Circuit Court office, was honored during a retirement ceremony on Dec. 14. During the special ceremony, Modlin received special recognitions from Rep. David Sater, Sen. Jack Goodman and retired Judge Carr Woods. Modlin, who has served in the circuit court office for over nine years, is retiring from her current position and will begin serving as Barry County Administrator next year. Modlin was elected to the county office in November. She will replace Barbara White, who announced her retirement earlier this year.
