Britani Long, just a sophomore, poured in a game-high 22 points to lead Cassville.
The Lady Wildcats now own a three-game winning streak, adding victories over Galena (53-41) and Monett (44-35). Cassville's season record stands at 4-2.
The Lady Wolves led by 3 points twice in the second period, but Long tied the score with an inside basket and then Raeghan Blisard put the Lady Wildcats in front with an offensive board and put-back.
Cassville led at halftime, 19-17, and would not trail again in the contest.
Danielle Curnes scored in the lane to create a 19-19 tie early in the third quarter, but Cassville forged ahead with a 9-3 run. The Lady Wildcats held a 9-point lead at 28-19 when Long scored with an offensive board and then canned the free throw after absorbing a foul from Reed's 6'3" senior center, Megan Rasmussen.
The Lady Wolves scored the final 3 points of the period to pull within 28-22 at the final break.
Chris Shore's girls outscored the visitors 16-9 in the final period to clinch the victory.
Free throw shooting played a big part in the contest. The Lady Wildcats converted four of their five opportunities, while Reeds Spring hit only two of nine attempts from the line.
