Edie to play college volleyball

Aubrey Edie, a senior at Fayetteville High School, in Fayetteville, Ark., recently signed her letter of intent to play volleyball for the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. Edie helped her team win the Arkansas 7A state championship this year. The Lady Bulldogs compiled a record of 101-9 in the last three years. Edie was named the MVP of the state tournament and was recently named a second team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Aubrey is the daughter of Chuck and Jamie Edie, of Cassville, and Angie and Ed Baker, of Fayetteville, Ark. Aubrey is the granddaughter of Marlee and Johnnie Edie, of Cassville, and Marilyn and Gary Baker, of Bentonville, Ark.
