Fundraiser to benefit family impacted by fire

A benefit fundraiser for the family of David and Stacy Santos will be held at the First Baptist Church of Washburn activity center from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. The Santos family lost their home and all of their possessions to a fire that occurred on Thanksgiving afternoon.

The event will offer an auction, live bluegrass and gospel music and a dinner. Meals will cost $5 each. All proceeds will benefit the Santos family.
