Elizabeth L. "Betty" Rochovansky, 94, of Shell Knob, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Peachwood Manor, Cassville.

She was born Dec. 3, 1917, in Wilks-Barre, Penn., the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Groholy) LaVenda. On April 9, 1942, she was united in marriage to John F. Rochovansky, who preceded her in death in March, 2009. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one son, John David Rochovansky, in July, 2009.

Survivors include: one son, Thomas "Tom" Rochovansky and his wife, Nancy, of Shell Knob; one daughter, Laura Rodrock and her husband, Jim, of Shell Knob; one sister, Tina Smith, of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She grew up in Pennsylvania, where she received her education. She was a homemaker. In 1999, she and John moved to Shell Knob to make their home, where she remained until moving to Peachwood Manor. She had only been a resident of Peachwood Manor for eight days.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
