Moore named Ag instructor at Southwest

Joe Moore has been named the new agriculture instructor and FFA advisor at Southwest High School in Washburn for the 2012-13 academic year. Moore has taught high school agriculture for 15 years, first at Crane and then Verona. He is a Lawrence County native and raised on a beef farm. He is a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and University of Arkansas and University of Missouri. "I am excited to be at Southwest, where there is a long-standing tradition of success in the agriculture program," said Moore. "I look forward to working with students and parents in the coming year."
