Stotts City teen injured in county wreck

A Stotts City teen was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, on Highway 37 approximately one mile south of Butterfield.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 2002 Buick LeSabre, Anthony G. Daniels, 19, of Monett, struck a 2009 Dodge Journey, driven by Angel D. Wright, 34, of Stotts City, from behind. The Wright vehicle continued off the left side of the roadway.

A passenger in the vehicle, Mirand J. Nute, 15, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries.
