Over 30 Crowder College students, including several from the Barry County area, have qualified for the National Post Secondary Ag Students (PAS) Conference, which will be held in Louisville, Ky., in March of 2013. Nearly 40 Crowder College students completed at the 33rd annual Missouri PAS Conference at State Fair Community College this month. The event drew over 120 participants from across the state who took part in 16 different career development events including employment interview, career planning, career specialist and college bowl. Crowder's College Bowl team dominated the 80-person competition, advancing through the tournament and facing each other in the finals. Both teams will advance to the national contest where they will defend last year's national championship. Students who qualified for the national PAS conference are pictured above. Local students among the group include: Daniel Burnside, of Purdy; Douglas Aldridge, Jessica Schadd, Kaitlyn Campbell and Travis Worminton, all of Monett; Jamie Gundel and Travis Hayworth, both of Washburn.
