Exeter School District seventh through 12th grade choir students opened the Clay Cooper Country Music Express Show in Branson by performing the national anthem and "God Bless the USA" on Oct. 25. The Exeter Dance Troupe also performed Dance Evolution, a medley of dance songs from the 1950s to the present. In addition to offering the opening performance, students watched the regular show and then participated in a vocal clinic with stars from the show. During the vocal clinic, the choir and dance troupe learned new warm-up techniques and performance tips from professional musicians and performers. Students who took part in the event are pictured above.
