Tuesday, November 20, 2012

David Verde was chosen as the 2012 Rotary MVP for soccer. He had 26 goals this year as well as 14 assists. In a pre-season poll on, Verde placed third among area players, beating out players from Ozark, Catholic and Glendale high schools. According to head coach Andrew Hoskins, "He was invaluable as an offensive force this year and a major reason we were able to take second in districts. David also has strong academic standards off the field and is a model student athlete carrying himself well and representing the best virtues of Cassville soccer in the community."
