Cassville High School student Chris Hinebaugh has been awarded the Degree of Distinction -- Ruby Level by the National Forensics League Honor Society (NFLHS), an organization that recognizes outstanding student achievement in high school public speaking, dramatic speaking and debate. Hinebaugh is currently the high point leader at CHS, which puts him on track for consideration for district, state and national high school service and academic achievement awards. CHS currently has 11 active members in the NFLHS, with 10 additional students who will become members of the organization this year. Cassville High School has been a member of NFLHS since the 1950s. Recent student involvement has moved the school from 20th to 15th place in the local NFL district. Democrat Photo/Lindsay Reed
