Pershing Foch "Jack" Elliott, 93, of Exeter, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Ozark Medical Center, West Plains.

He was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Pottstown, Penn., the son of Frank K. and Della (Hallman) Elliott. On Aug. 10, 1940, he was united in marriage to Rachael Frymoyer, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Jackie Smith, who died in 2009; two sisters, Gwen and Murial; and one brother, Frank.

Survivors include: three sons, Rodney Elliott, of Reading, Penn.; Dennis Elliott and his wife, Mary Ann, of Pottstown, Penn.. and Daniel Elliott, of Cabool; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Pottstown High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. For 15 years, he worked at Doehler's Die Casting Company in Pennsylvania until he became ill.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home, Pottstown, Penn. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown, Penn.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the Disabled American Veterans, 5915 Bristol Emilie Road, Levittown, PA 19057.

Local arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
