Evaleah E. Vaughn, 63, of Pittsburg, Kan., formerly of Cassville, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, in Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
She was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of James and Letha (Riott) Brown, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was one brother, James Brown.
Survivors include: four daughters, Angel Hayworth, of Washburn, Vickie Hendershot, of Crane, Penny Beck, of the State of Missouri, and April Randel, of Washburn; three brothers, George Brown and his wife, Tammy, of Wooster, Ohio, Carl Brown and his wife, Sandra, of Butterfield, and David Brown, of Harrison, Ark.; one sister, Royce McGarigle and her husband, Barrett, of Purdy; and several grandchildren.
She grew up in California and Purdy, where she attended school. She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services were held Monday at Horner Cemetery, Cassville, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services.
