Herbert J. Waxelman, 87, of Cassville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville. He was born on Oct. 8, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., to Benjamin and Carolyn (Pruschansky) Waxelman. He attended Washington University in St. Louis where he received a bachelor's degree in architecture. He was an U.S. Navy veteran having been stationed on Tinian Island during World War II. He was united in marriage to Juanita Dodson on Oct. 8, 1960, in Jackson County, and in 1980, they moved to Cassville. He worked on computers and owned and operated his own business, Computer Helper, for several years.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Juanita Waxelman, of Cassville.
