Robert Eugene Calk, Sr., 74, of Exeter, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, Cassville.
He was born on April 14, 1938, in Tioga, Texas, the son of William Claude and Ruby (Moses) Calk. On Oct. 31, 1959, in Arlington, Texas, he was united to Angeletta Reed, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Robert Calk, Jr., of Ft. Worth, Texas; four daughters, Debra Jean Calk and Rebecca Rachelle Maxey, both of Saginaw, Texas, Angeletta Rana Calk, of Weatherford, Texas, and Rhonda Kay Shalton and her husband, Richard, of Midlothian, Texas; one brother, Randall Calk, of Texas; one sister, Peggy Sue Click, of Galveston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He grew up and received his education in Texas. He was a machinist for Bell Helicopter -- Textron, Inc. for 32 years. Following his retirement in 1998, he and Angeletta moved to Shell Knob. He was of the Baptist faith. In 2010, he and Angeletta moved to Exeter.
No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home.
