ABC's on tap at The Show

Tickets are still available for The Show, which will be performed at the Crowder College Cassville Campus Community Building on Oct. 26, 27 and 28. The Show, sponsored by the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year.

This year's theme is an ABC Show. Greg Beck, the show's director, and the other performers have put together a program in which songs beginning with the letters A through Z will be included in each performance.

"This show has been going strong in Cassville for 20 years," said Mindi Artherton, chamber executive director. "Our Show volunteers work on this event all year long so I have no doubt it will be an exceptional show."

The Show, which features the HomeTown Sound and the RedHots, will offer approximately two and a half hours of musical entertainment with an intermission. Concessions will be available during all performances.

HomeTown Sound band members include: Jack Reed, guitar; Bruce Nickle, bass; Carol House, piano; JoEllen Fielding, keyboard and flute; Jim Craig, trombone; Rocky Mills, trumpet; Steve Lyons, sax; Brenda Beck, percussion; and Greg Beck, drums.

The RedHots are Jennifer Evans, Debbie Nickle and JaDonna Hoover.

The Show will feature solo performances by the following members of the Cassville community: Katie Johnson, Jessica Hendrix, Brianna Wilson, Leslie Smith, John Lueckenhoff, Tracy Essary, Wayne Hendrix, Josh Davison, Angela Seymour, Blake Whitley, Audra Shumaker, Alicia McCullah, Bradley Lueckenhoff, Phillip Roller, Cassidy Larson, Nicole McGuffy, Karen Brattin and Rodney Hughes.

Carolyn Bowen, Wendy Lueckenhoff and Dale Strahan will assist with backstage, set-up, wardrobe, sound and stage lighting.

Advanced general admission tickets, which are $6 each, are available at the chamber office, Commerce Bank, Freedom Bank, First State Bank and Security Bank in Cassville. Tickets will be available at the door for $8 each. Children 12 and under will be admitted at no cost.

Table seats are available for $15 per person. Tables seat six to eight guests. Tables for Saturday have been sold out, and a limited number remain for the Friday and Sunday performances. General admission tickets are still available.

Group discounts are offered in celebration of The Show's 20th anniversary. Groups of 10 or more that purchase tickets in advance will receive a 20 percent discount. Discounted tickets are only available at the chamber office.

General admission seats will be reserved for groups that purchase discounted tickets. Group discounts are not available for table seating.

The Show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 and 27. The Sunday, Oct. 27 performance will begin at 2 p.m.

Freedom Bank also is serving as the ticket sponsor.

Advanced tickets and table seating tickets for the annual Christmas Show are also available at the chamber office. The Christmas Show will be held at the Crowder College Cassville Campus Community Building on Nov. 29 and 30.
