Jackie Lee Larkin, 73, of Monett, passed away at his home on Sunday Oct. 21, 2012. He was born Nov. 23, 1938, the son of the late Roscoe and Wilma (Inman) Larkin. He was united in marriage on Nov. 12, 1998, to Karen Gottschalk in Mt. Vernon, and she survives.

He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Monett VFW Post 4207, and the American Legion of Monett Post 91.

Survivors include: his wife, Karen, of the home; one son, Greg Larkin, of Bolivar; two daughters, Terry Kelly, of Dueneweg, and Jennifer Hayword, of Cole Camp; one stepson, Tim Patterson, of Hutchison, Kan.; two step- daughters, Tammy Keele, Hutchison, Kan., and Kim Golubski, of Monett; two sisters, Sue Smith, of Purdy, and Frances Farley, of Reeds; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, Roscoe and Wilma.

No service arrangements have been made at this time.
