Jerald Elroy Lehman, 76, of Wheelerville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Cox South in Springfield. He was born in Abilene, Kan., on April 6, 1936, to Earl and Grace Lehman. After completing high school, he attended Bakers University where he graduated and began his teaching career. He also worked for the YMCA in Springfield for 30 years.
Survivors include: three sons, Mike Lehman and his wife, Tanny, of Cassville, Mark Lehman and his wife, Tammy, of Springfield, and Ted Lehman, of Herman, N.Y.; two sisters, Maxine Clark, of Wichtia, Kan., and Erlene Marston, of Roxbury, Kan.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loeta, and one son, Jeff.
Graveside services will be held at Hilton Cemetery, Wheelerville on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Roy Roach officiating.
