CHS band earns awards

The Cassville High School Wildcat Pride Marching Band participated in the Valhalla Marching Band Festival at Parkview High School in Springfield on Oct. 6. The band received awards for outstanding horn line and outstanding marching and maneuvering. The Wildcat Pride Band also earned first place in class in preliminary competition, which allowed the group to perform in the finals competition. This is the first time in school history that the band has earned the awards at the Valhalla Marching Band Festival. Krissy Albert, drum major, is pictured above with the competition trophies.
