Absentee voting for the Nov. 6 general election will continue through Monday, Nov. 5.
Absentee voting hours will be offered at the Barry County Clerk's office in Cassville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voters must present one form of identification, such as a driver's license or a voter registration card.
Area residents who are unable to vote absentee in per- son can request an absentee ballot by mail. Written re- quests should be mailed to Gary Youngblood at 700 Main St., Suite 2, Cassville, MO 65625 or faxed to 847-5311.
Requests must include the following information: the voter's name, physical ad- dress, mailing address, phone number and date of birth; the last four digits of the voter's Social Security number; the reason for voting absentee; and the voter's signature.
Absentee ballot request forms can also be obtained at the Monett Chamber of Commerce or the Shell Knob Chamber of Com- merce.
The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail for the upcoming election is Wednesday, Oct. 31.
