Three injured in recent wrecks
A Shell Knob woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 on Highway 76 about seven miles east of Cassville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amanda C. Hohmann, 23, of Shell Knob, drove her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt off the left side of the highway and struck an embankment.
Hohmann was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.
* A Pierce City woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 4:45 a.m. on Sept. 16 on County Road 2030 about three miles west of Monett. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2010 Jeep Cherokee, Lindsey M. Dieckhoff, 20, traveled off the left side of the road. Her vehicle struck a utility pole and caught fire. Dieckhoff was taken by private vehicle to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
* One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. on Sept. 13 on Highway 76 in Cassville. The crash occurred when the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 pickup, Nathan D. Haney, 19, of Cassville, attempted to make a left turn and pulled into the path of a 1997 Ford F150 pickup, driven by Allen W. Chandler, 51, of Cassville. Chandler was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries. Haney was not hurt in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
